ESP station redesign
GSA HQ thought the previous ESP design was not optimal for studies on ENC so the design has been changed. The new design was approved by GSA HQ and construction will begin shortly.
Gateway Station 1 blueprint presented to GSA HQ
The newest addition to GSA HQs stations is a generic use station named Gateway Station 1. The role of this series of identical stations is to provide repair points and medical treatment on extended space trips. Here is the blueprint submited to GSA HQ.
Construction of GTC is complete
Construction of GSA's HQ first telecomunication centre is now complete. After it was set in motion, GSA HQ had higher transfer rates from all stations, including the BBM1 and BBM2 probes. The GTC is a much needed upgrade to the connectivity of GSA stations and probes, and it opensthe window to much needed telecomunication uprgrades to every single one of our stations. It also makes the launch of new stations and probes more viable.
GOL Orbital Observer (GOO) blueprint submited to GSA HQ
GSA HQ is planning to expand its science operations on GOL. To that cause, i addition to the GAA (GOL Atmospheric Analyser) and the orbiting satelite a new observatory is being constructed, that should be able to penetrate the thick clouds on GOL. The 29 part station is not nessesarily needed to be manned, how ever it is possible if needed. Here is the bleuprint submited to GSA HQ:
New Moon Base constructed
The new Moon Base construction is now complete. It contains a pod for crew accomodation, 2 cargo bays for storage and a landing pad for the second pod to transfer supplies and crew from the moon base to the support station. The support station is there to refill the batteries and the oxygen for the base. It also serves as a refueling station for nearby vessels. Any info recorded from the base is transported to LSO by the support station. Here is the bleuprint for the Moon Base Support station and the views of the complete base + station. The new support station is definately and upgrade from the old one, and it should allow higher transfer rates from the base to the LSO. Also any medical injuries are treated aboard the LSO, as the MBS has n…
