In Mission 3, named Manned Flight, needs you to carry out your first manned flight.

• Launch a Crew Capsule into orbit.
• Complete at least one full orbit.
• Re-enter the Crew Capsule into HOM's atmosphere.

Briefing

This will be your first manned flight!

Launch a Crew Capsule into orbit.

Once you've completed at least one full orbit, slow the vehicle's velocity into the orange zone.

It will begin to fall gently towards the planet. Separate the Crew Capsule and Orient the heat shield towards the atmosphere.

You will encounter turbulence during re-entry.

Keep the heat shield facing downwards at all times to prevent the module from overheating and being destroyed.

Once the module has slowed down, deploy the parachute and slowly drop into the ocean.

Trivia

• This mission will unlock the Crew Escape Tower, the Automated Transfer Vehicle, the Crew Capsule and the Station Builder Tug for use in the Sandbox.
• This is a homage to Friendship 7, the first American orbital flight.
