LK Lander legs with long march 2nd stage on LUN
A Lander can be used to land on planets and moons with hard surfaces.
A lander is built with two parts. A lower part:
And an upper part: Lunar Module Descent can have:
- Cargo hold (in some cases)
Important: without a Lunar Module Ascent the lander has no thruster capability, even if the upper part does
LK Lander Legs can have any of the above or the following:
- LK Lander Core
- Crew Capsule
- Tug Module
- Gemini Service Module
- Soyuz 2nd Stage
- Black Arrow 2nd Stage
The Moon Landing Mission in Mission 16 with the CSM orbiting the moon.
- Long March 2nd Stage
- Habitation Module
- Space Station Module
- Control Room
- Oxygen Garden
- Cupola
- MSS Module
- Corridor
- Medical bay
- Cargo hold
- Ion drive
- Ion Drive Linkable
Important: without a LK Lander Core the lander cannot be controlled even if the upper part is, so you must use another stage to navigate the lander into position
With all of these stages, payloads and modules that you can attach to the landers, you can make a planetary or lunar base!
