Titan II

Overview

The Titan II was an American intercontinental ballistic missile that was adapted to launch payloads such as satellites into orbit.

The Titan II is one of the first launchers the player can build in Career Mode and it can be used for many missions. Its first stage can have boosters attached, allowing for heavier payload or more stages as compared to the Mercury First Stage. The full rocket, including payload fairing, costs $5,300,000 (or possibly more depending on the fairing). It is assembled as follows:

Trivia

Though created to launch warheads and satellites, it was modified to be America's first rocket to carry astronauts into orbit. It launched the Gemini Capsule.
